Privacy Policy
Bay Pulse Studio is a website builder operated by Bay Pulse. This policy explains what we collect, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers the Studio itself — not the websites you build with it, which are yours and governed by whatever policy you publish on them.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name and email address, handled by our sign-in provider.
- What you build — the instructions you type, files you upload, and the content of the sites you create.
- Billing details — entered on Stripe's checkout, not ours. We store a Stripe customer reference and your plan, never card numbers.
- Anything you send us — support emails and similar.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs: IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps.
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary — without it the Studio cannot tell your account from anyone else's.
- Records of builds and publishes, used to apply your plan's limits.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.
How your content is used by AI
This is the disclosure most worth reading. Bay Pulse Studio builds sites with an AI agent, and to do that it sends the instructions you write and the contents of your site's files to Anthropic's API. When the agent generates an image, it sends the image description to kie.ai. Both are processing on our behalf, to produce your site — not to train models on your content.
Don't paste anything into the builder you wouldn't want processed by those services. Passwords, API keys, and payment details in particular belong in the connect panels the Studio provides, never in the chat.
Who else sees your data
We share data only with the services needed to run Bay Pulse Studio:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or our rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Where your data is held
The Studio runs on a server in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Backups are stored encrypted with Cloudflare. Published sites are served from Cloudflare's global network, so copies are cached worldwide. If you are outside the United States, using Bay Pulse Studio means your information is transferred to and processed in the US.
How long we keep it
- Account and billing records — for as long as you have an account, then as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Your project files — while your account is active. If a subscription lapses, sites stay online for a 14-day grace period; after that the published site is taken offline and your files are retained so you can export or restart.
- Backups — 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Server logs — a short operational period.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- See what we hold about you.
- Correct anything wrong.
- Delete your account and its data.
- Export your sites. Every project is a real repository you can take elsewhere — that is a product feature, not a favour.
- Object to a particular use, or withdraw consent.
Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you worse for exercising any of these rights. Residents of California, the EU, and the UK have specific statutory versions of them, and we apply the same process to everyone.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Each account can reach only its own projects. Credentials you connect — a payment provider key, for instance — are stored by the platform they belong to and are never written into your site's files or shown back to you. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
Children
Bay Pulse Studio is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy substantively we will update the date above and tell account holders by email. Continuing to use Bay Pulse Studio after a change means you accept it.
